Lullwood Door Test

Tracking setup and 8 week reporting log. Test window: 30 June 2026 to 24 August 2026.

Three targets to clear: 8 full length YouTube videos, 250 or more email signups from strangers, 500 or more organic YouTube subscribers.

Tracking Setup

All tracking is free and uses tools the company already owns. No third party analytics services are used.

Why these three only: they cost nothing, they are owned by us or by the platform itself, and they keep listener data out of any ad tracking stack. We deliberately use no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, and no other outside analytics tool.

Weekly Reports

Each row is a weekly checkpoint. Plan is the cumulative target we are aiming for by the end of that week, on the ramp toward the three final targets. Actual is the real number measured that week. The test starts at zero on day one; real figures replace the dashes as each week passes.

WeekDatesVideos (plan / actual)Signups (plan / actual)Subscribers (plan / actual)
Week 130 Jun – 6 Jul1 / 010 / 040 / 0
Week 27 Jul – 13 Jul2 / —30 / —90 / —
Week 314 Jul – 20 Jul3 / —60 / —150 / —
Week 421 Jul – 27 Jul4 / —100 / —220 / —
Week 528 Jul – 3 Aug5 / —140 / —290 / —
Week 64 Aug – 10 Aug6 / —180 / —360 / —
Week 711 Aug – 17 Aug7 / —215 / —430 / —
Week 818 Aug – 24 Aug8 / —250 / —500 / —

Week 1 actuals are 0 videos, 0 signups, 0 subscribers. That is the honest starting baseline: the channel is a placeholder, no videos are live yet, and the podcast is not yet live. These are not failed results, they are the day one zero from which the test begins.

Week 8 Verdict

Current standing: NO-GO

As of this baseline, none of the three targets have been met: 8 videos published (currently 0), 250 or more email signups (currently 0), and 500 or more YouTube subscribers (currently 0). On the door test rule, the verdict is therefore NO-GO at the start of the test.

This verdict is live. It updates to GO only if, by the end of week 8, all three targets are met from real measured figures: 8 videos published, 250 or more signups, and 500 or more subscribers. If any one of the three falls short at week 8, the verdict stays NO-GO and the next step is to fix distribution before building the full product.

This page is the living report. The actual columns and the final verdict are filled from real Umami, YouTube native, and Spotify native figures as each week of the test passes.
